It prevents you from having to buy a completely new AR-15 chamber for the 9mm. The mods here are so simple that you’ll never need a gunsmith. If you know how to separate the upper and lower receiver, you can apply and remove the mod within seconds. Mar 24, 2017 New to the 9mm AR platform but not the AR-15. Wanted to find out can you use the same AR-15 upper receiver for a 9mm build.

So I have a stripped lower. It is a standard multi/.223 lower. I have been debating making a 9mm AR pistol, and I am curious if I could easily build off of it.
I saw PSA has dedicated lowers and uppers (missed a sale on just buying one). But I am curious if it is possible to easily make a 9mm AR that is glock magazine compatible (I have a G17 already).
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the slight random nature of my typing.
EDIT: It is probably verboten, but I have also been looking at that PAK-9 by Chiappa. Cheap AK 9mm. Nice and short. But looks pretty dumb.
